FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER ?

1) Click on the “Browse Catalogue” icon on the left of the page.

2) Click on the red Category titles on the next page, then click on any further Sub-Category titles which appear before the actual product items are displayed.

3) After reading the details of each Product, click on the “Add to Cart” button, which is just below the product’s title.

4) The product will then be placed in the Shopping Cart which comprises your order.

5) Once you’ve selected everything you wish to purchase, click on the “your cart” text (written in blue in the Navigation Menu on the left hand side of the screen) or the “view cart” text (at the top right of the screen) – both do the same thing.

6) The “cart” summarises your order, so make sure it contains what you wish to buy.

7) If there’s something you don’t wish to purchase, click on the red “X” just to the left of the item’s image and it will be removed.

8) When the order is correct, click on the “Proceed To Check Out” icon.

9) The Checkout page will ask for your name and the address where you want the items sent, along with your e-mail address. Please ensure the e-mail address you provide when placing the order is the same as your PayPal address, so that you can be sent a PayPal invoice.

10) Click on the “Place Order” icon at the bottom of the screen to finish the process..

11) Once the order has been received, the freight will then be calculated and a PayPal invoice with the full amount owed (cost of goods + postage) will be sent back to you.

12) Payment can then be made by using the PayPal invoice. Do not attempt to pay until you have received a PayPal invoice.

 WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT ?

PayPal only. Please make sure that the e-mail address you provide when placing the order is the same as your PayPal address. This is so that you can be sent a PayPal invoice.

 I’VE PLACED AN ORDER AND CAN’T FIND A LINK TO PAY THROUGH PAYPAL ?

There isn’t a direct link to PayPal on this site. Once your order is received, you will be sent a PayPal invoice which will include the cost of postage. That is because the cost of postage is very variable. The delivery fees quoted in each item description are intended simply as a guide and are not absolute.

WHAT CURRENCY DOES THIS SITE USE ?

Everything on this web site is priced in AUSTRALIAN dollars.

WHAT IS YOUR PRIVACY POLICY ?

EC Productions does not sell or distribute information provided by customers. All of the private information received is erased from the computer immediately after the order has been processed.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY ?

All returns & refunds are determined on a case by case basis. Please make contact as soon as possible to discuss any difficulties or unhappiness with your purchase.

HOW SAFE IS YOUR ORDERING SYSTEM ?

Orders made via the web site’s ordering system are sent in an encrypted format. All other communication methods – such as e-mails via the “Contact Us” facility – are not secure and confidential information should not be sent in that way.

WHAT SHIPPING METHODS DO YOU USE ?

EC Productions uses Australia Post for all deliveries within Australia. International shipments are sent by air mail via Australia Post and whatever arrangements they have with each other country’s postal service.

CAN MY ORDER BE INSURED OR SENT BY REGISTERED MAIL ?

Any order can be sent with insurance, but Signature-On-Delivery (which includes insurance up to $100 and replaced the old Registered Mail option) is only available within Australia at a cost of $3. Basic insurance (up to Aust $100) for parcels sent overseas costs Aust $10 and increases for more valuable items. You will need to make a specific request for this when placing an order and the fees will be added after checkout.

CAN I COME TO YOUR PREMISES TO PICK UP MY ORDER ?

Sorry, local pickup and/or delivery is not possible. Everything is sent via the postal system.

HOW MUCH IS THE POSTAGE ?

Postage for all orders is calculated by weight after the order has been received and will be advised to the customer before payment is made. A rough guide to the cost of postage for each individual item is provided at the end of the description.The cost of postage for an order of two or more items will be combined. For example, while it may cost $8 to send a single paperback book, two books of the same size may still cost only $8 in total to send and ten of them may occur a postal charge of $14.

EC Productions is not responsible for custom charges levied on internationally shipped packages. Your country’s government may impose taxes and duties on your package prior to its arrival and you are responsible for these.

IS EC PRODUCTIONS AN ACTUAL SHOP AND CAN I VISIT ?

EC Productions is a purely mail order operation and customers are not able to visit the premises.

DO YOU HAVE A CATALOGUE ?

No, we don’t print catalogues. This website is up-to-date with all of our stock and we strive to keep it as accurate as possible.

HOW DO I KNOW IF SOMETHING LISTED ON THE WEBSITE IS ACTUALLY AVAILABLE ?

Stock items are deleted from the website as soon as an order is received and only once since the site first went on line have two people tried to order the same thing simultaneously. Thus you can be 99% sure that whatever you order is available, however if there is a problem you will only be charged for the actual items supplied.

I’M SEEKING A PARTICULAR ITEM, HOW DO I FIND IT QUICKLY ?

1) Click on the “search” text (written in blue in the Navigation Menu on the left hand side of the screen).

2) Type in the name / title / other detail of the item you seek in the empty field within the blue rectangle in the centre of the page.

3) Click on the “search” icon alongside to make the process begin.

HOW DO I DISTINGUISH BETWEEN NEW AND SECONDHAND ITEMS ?

All secondhand stock is marked as such with the word (SECONDHAND) alongside the item title.

HOW DO YOU GRADE YOUR SECONDHAND STOCK ?

None of the formal grading systems are used, instead the condition of each item is described in plain language in as much detail as seems appropriate.
