SEMAPHORE RECORD FAIR
The next Semaphore Record Fair will take place on 21 April 2025 (Easter Monday).

This event typically features 50 local traders with 80 tables of stock for sale, including records, CDs, music books & magazines, DVDs, memorabilia and more, both new & secondhand.

It takes place at St Bede’s Hall, 200 Military Road, Semaphore (approx 20 metres from the intersection of Semaphore & Military Roads). Bus stop 44 is right outside the hall. Entry for the public is FREE. 9 am to 4 pm.

The October record fairs are held in conjunction with the Semaphore Music Festival, which has been held annually since 2005 on the October Labour Day Long Weekend – www.semaphoremusicfestival.com.

The April record fairs are held on the Easter long weekend.

ALDGATE SECONDHAND MUSIC & BOOK SALE
This event is held 3-4 times a year in the Adelaide Hills in an upstairs room at the Aldgate Pump Hotel, 1 Strathalbyn Road, Aldgate. It will next take place on Saturday & Sunday the 14th & 15th of December 2024, from 9 am to 5 pm both days with free entry, plus food & refreshments available in the pub.

Two private traders will be selling several thousand records, CDs, DVDs and box sets, plus an array of secondhand books, along with sheet music, songbooks, magazines & other music memorabilia. All genres of contemporary music will be available, from bargain-price cheapies to top-end rarities.

WALKERVILLE RECORD, CD & DVD SALE
The next Record, CD & DVD Sale will take place on Saturday & Sunday the 15th & 16th of March 2025 at Walkerville RSL, 9 am to 5 pm both days, with free entry, plus food & refreshments available at nearby cafes.

This two-day event takes place three times each year. It’s not a record fair as such, but instead features two major east coast secondhand music sellers – Revolve Records (Sydney) and The Vinyl Junkie (Byron Bay) – bringing a huge quantity of records, CDs and DVDs (featuring every imaginable style of music, along with a selection of rarities for discerning collectors) to Adelaide for local buyers to enjoy.

Previously this was held at Prospect Town Hall (2015-2017) and before that at the Arkaba Hotel (2013-2015) and it now takes place at Walkerville RSL – 98 Walkerville Terrace, Walkerville. FREE ENTRY

PORT ELLIOT VINYL FAIR
The next Port Elliot Vinyl Fair will take place on 11 January 2025, at the Port Elliot Institute, 164 The Strand, Port Elliot, from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, $2 entry fee. PORT ELLIOT RECORD & VINTAGE FAIR
This will take place in July 2024 at The Jetty Food Store, 42 North Terrace, Port Elliot, 9 am to 5 pm both days, with free entry, plus food & refreshments available at nearby cafes.

This two-day event will be similar to the Walkerville one. It’s not a record fair as such, but instead features an east coast secondhand music seller – Revolve Records from Sydney – bringing a huge quantity of records, CDs and DVDs (featuring every imaginable style of music, along with a selection of rarities for discerning collectors) to Adelaide for local buyers to enjoy, accompanied by some local sellers.

PORT NOARLUNGA RECORD FAIR
The next southern suburbs record fair will take place on Saturday the 30th of November 2024, from 10 am to 4 pm, in the courtyard at the back of Noddy’s Curios. The shop is located on the corner of Gawler Street & Konrad Street in Port Noarlunga. This event has 6-8 sellers, offering records, CDs and more. There are several local cafes & eating establishments nearby. FREE ENTRY

MUSIC PALOOZA
The next Music Palooza Record, CD & DVD Sale will be held one weekend in 2025, at a venue yet to be decided. This is the biggest secondhand music event in Adelaide, at which some of Australia’s biggest music sellers made a special journey to participate. As the most prestigious secondhand music sale in South Australia all available tables are usually hired by traders, so late bookings can result in disappointment.

More than 50 interstate & local sellers usually participate, with 110 tables of stock – from bargains to collectibles, featuring music in all styles – including records, CDs, music books & magazines, DVDs, memorabilia and more.

$5 admission – which covers both days – and FREE for children under 12 accompanied by an adult.
10 am to 5 pm on both days.
